Lipistat-Exercise & Diet

Managing the cholesterol levels inside your body is a chore to say the least!  There are several contributing factors to heart disease and cholesterol, the great thing is that most of these can be controlled.  For immediate results to cholesterol levels just starting to deal with these contributing factors can often help.

Two of these contributing factors to heart disease as well as cholesterol are diet and exercise.  Diet being the primary culprit between the two.

It is important to note that even though Lipistat™ has been shown to aid in the management of cholesterol that when coupled with diet and exercise, it is the most effective.

Diet is so critical to managing cholesterol levels internally.  The body with the help of the Liver already creates ALL the cholesterol that the body needs to function properly.  So when the greater part of America is eating what they want when they want, they are contributing significantly the levles of cholesterol in their bodies.

The American Heart  Association has determined what safe levels of cholesterol can be ingested from external sources.  The average American male consumes a total of 337 milligrams of cholesterol every single day.  For women it is a tad bit less at 217 milligrams each and every day.  One of the best ways to get cholesterol levels under control is to adjust daily diet.

Exercise is also important for managing cholesterol levels in the body.  An interesting point to note with exercise is that the American Heart Association has mixed results when it comes to exercise and cholesterol.  They state that individuals "can" experience a drop in cholesterol when exercise is added to their cholesterol management regimen.  Also noted is that when individuals lose weight, particularly fatty reserves under the skin then cholesterol levels do drop.  So exercise may not be a direct factor to lowering cholesterol levels but being able to lose the fatty buildups in the body will have a positive impact on cholesterol in the body.  This means that exercise is always a good idea if cholesterol levels are a concern.

As always consult your physician and/or dietician before launching either a new diet or an exercise program.  A simple cholesterol test can be a regular part of your wellness check, and cholesterol test can usually be obtained for free if you donate blood to the Red Cross or other blood bank.

Remember, the best way to tackle high cholesterol levels is to attack it from multiple fronts, giving it little chance of remaining in your body!
