Natural ingredients found in natural skin care products can prevent damage to the skin.

Research reveals that natural ingredients can limit the deterioation caused by the skin's contact with Ultraviolet light, in other words, exposure to the sun. Fortunately, scientists in Spain and New York have uncovered a replacement, found in the natural substance that snails secrete. This substance which snails use to protect their own skin from damaging elements has a protective effect in topical application in human skins against UV induced cutaneous damage, and contains the enzyme antioxidant SOD that is needed to help restore the skin.

Studies confirm that this biological ingredient is an excellent treatment against photo-aging. Experiments were made in 1999 where participants who showed signs of facial photo-aging took part in the application of this ingredient on their skin. It was revealed that all the participants were happy with its results. These were:

*young skin: reduced wrinkles and skin aging

*hydrated skin: retained skin moisture

*firm and elastic skin: firmness and elasticity of the skin improved

As we can see, natural skin products made with this biological ingredient help to maintain skin in good condition, counteracting free radicals and protecting skin from UV radiation. We must also not forget that it helps to keep our skin vibrant and fresh reducing premature skin aging and wrinkles.
